Types of plug cords around the world

The difference and application of the four types of plug cords often used

1. European plug cord

① European plug: also called the Dutch standard power plug and pipe plug

The plug cord has distributors and distributors model specifications such as: AW-006 JJ-002 and other countries in the world verification: (D (Netherlands); N (Denmark); S (Germany); VDE (France); FI (Germany) ; IMQ (Spain); KEMA (Spain); CEBEC (Denmark).

Product suffix: N/1225

②. The wiring mark indicates the band code: H05VV□□F 3G 0.75mm2:

H: Indicate European regulations and EU country flags

05: Indicates the compressive and compressive strength of the wiring (03: 300V 05: 500V)

VV: front V surface core insulation layer, back V indicates the wiring sheath insulation layer, VV such as: RR indicates that it is a vulcanized rubber insulation layer, such as VV: N indicates that it is neoprene;

□□: The front "□" has a unique code, the back "□" indicates a flat wire, or H2 indicates a flat two-core wire;

F: Indicates that the line is a round line

3: Indicate the number of internal cores

G: indicates the grounding device

0.75 mm2: indicates the cross-sectional area of the wiring

2. British plug plug line

①, British plug: 240V 50HZ compression resistance 3750V 3S 0.5mA, fuse (2A 10A 13A) (FVSE) → fuse, specifications: full length 25-26.3mm, the middle diameter is 4.7-6.2mm on both sides of the metal material cap diameter 6.25 to 6.5 mm (screen printing ink BS1362);

②. The internal wire of the plug wire (the BS power plug is removed and the L wire (fire) is connected to the fuse on the right side of itself. The length of the ground wire must be more than 3 times the length of the (live wire, neutral wire). When the moving screw is loosened, use external force to pull out the wire and the ground must eventually fall down (the fixing screw that fixes the three wires must be tapered).

③. The identification is the same as the European plug cord.

Third, the American plug line

① American plug wire: 120V 50/60HZ is divided into two-core wire, three-core wire and optical rotation, non-polarity. The metal sheet of the plug wire to the United States must have a plastic sleeve;

The hot-stamped root wire of the two-core wire indicates the zero line of the live wire; the large pin of the optically active power plug is the zero wire, and the small pin is the zero wire of the live wire (the convex and concave surface of the power cord is zero, and the round surface of the wire is the live zero wire);

② American power cord type: NISPT-2 two-layer insulated rectangular wire, SPT-1W single-sided insulated rectangular wire with concave groove, SJTW moisture-proof power cord, SJTO oil-resistant power cord, etc.

NISPT-2: NISPT indicates two layers of insulation, -2 surface layer with two cores, core insulation, and surface insulation;

XTV and SPT: indicates a single-sided insulation layer, -2 surface layer two-core wire (the whole line has a concave groove, and the surface insulation is immediately covered with a copper core electric conductor);

SPT-3: indicates a single-sided insulation with a ground wire, -3 indicates a three-core wire (the whole line has a concave groove, and the ground wire in the middle is two layers of insulation);

Both SPT and NISPT are biased, and SVT is a round wire with two layers of insulation. Core insulation, surface insulation

③, American plugs are generally used to verify that the serial number is not immediately marked with the UL pattern design on the top of the plug. Such as: E233157 E236618

④ The American plug wire is different from the European plug wire:

European plug cords are indicated by "H";

The number of wires used in the US standard indicates such as: 2×1.31mm2 (16AWG), 2×0.824mm2 (18AWG): VW-1 (or HPN) 60°C (or 105°C) 300V

2: Indicate the total number of cores;

1.31 or 0.824 mm2: indicates: the cross-sectional area of the core;

16AWG: Indicate the cross-sectional area of the wire core, the same mm2 as above is corresponding;

VW-1 or HPN: VW-1 is PVC material; HPN: Neoprene material

60℃ or 150℃ is the high temperature resistance level of the power cord;

300V: The compressive strength of the power cord is different from that of the European regulations (European regulations are indicated by 03 or 05).

4. Japanese plug line: PSE, JET

VFF 2*0.75mm2 -F-

①, VFF: V indicates the wire material PVC; FF is a single-sided insulating layer with a concave groove for the whole wire;

②VCTFK: VC surface layer wire material PVC; TFK is a two-layer insulation layer flat wire, surface insulation layer, inner insulation layer, copper core transmission line;

③, VCTF: VC indicates that the wire material is PVC; TF is a two-layer insulated round wire;

④ There are two kinds of wiring: one is 3×0.75mm2, the other is 2×0.75mm2

3×0.75mm2: 3 indicates three-core wire; 0.75mm2 indicates the cross-sectional area of the core;

⑤, F: Indicate flexible cord material;

⑥. The Japanese three-plug cord plug has two plug springs, and the grounding wire is immediately locked on the power socket (good safety factor and convenient).
